I have a disabled son and have raised money in the past using JG and would never do what was done yesterday on here and I can't believe how fast people were happy to label me ,judge me and sentence me with just rumour hearsay and lies.Believe me I do hope they catch the person who did it and I feel sorry for Sarah that this was done but this really isn't the place I thought it was with everything that has been said in the last 24 hours - I think a lot of people need to take a long hard look in the mirror and think how they would feel if they were in my position.

Could be worth a try uploading receipt though eh ;)

    Morning all

Feeling better each day. Iron/hb levels must be reaching normal by now. Managed to go upstairs without getting "too" out of breath :D
Pre blood transfusion was gasping and holding onto rail to get upstairs :(

It's just a waiting game isn't it, as long as you are taking whatever you've been given your bound to be heading in the right direction. It just takes time gocat :)

I'm a right one to talk though as I'm getting impatient, I've finished the antibiotics and have to go back to the doc tomorrow. Luckily ds3 will be between shifts so he said he'll drive me. Ribs hurt so much little movements and/or breathing too deeply hurt like crazy

I hope you continue to improve and start dashing up the stairs soon, with luck I won't be far behind you :rotfl: :rotfl:
Well, I still have no idea when the engineer is turning up. Can't sit here doing nothing, can't start anything I can't put down. Think I will start on re-covering the top of the laundry basket, would be irritating to have to put down but not too bad. If I don't start anything then the engineer will not arrive.

Fingers are crossed that engineer turns up soon :). I just hate starting something then have to stop half way through  it's always the way though, you can sit for an hour or so and its a no show  start doing something and there they are ringing the door bell

Do the laundry basket, something small that doesn't matter too much if you get rudely interrupted :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Do you feel that is reflective upon the accusers, the manner in which people perceive you to behave or a bit of both ?

    Good Morning everyone :)

Nellie are you ok to sort the tickets out or whatever you need to do ? Also don't forget the disabled bit and I ll sort it out with you. If you need a lift to the station on the day let me know :)
Yes that's fine emerald. I was thinking of maybe just driving to Bache (for the free parking) and then just getting the merseysaver day ticket that costs £5 :money:
Di what time do you want us to arrive at the station for please?:)

Yes Susie and I would so love to meet you and the gang ;)but a little too far away ..

I'd love to meet any of you - but down here in mid Cornwall is a bit cut off.

On a separate note, can anyone please advise me about the Waitrose deals ? We have a new store opening down here tomorrow and I have registered and printed off a temporary card so I am gradually getting there. I can see on their website how to select MyPicks - but I don't quite seewhat to choose to get a good deal. I assume I need to look for stuff thats on a good offer - 3 for 2 or half price - but is there an easy way to locate stuff ? Any advice would be much appreciated. (needs to be simple as I still haven't got my head around shoppyt or any of those sites and even the APG thing took me ages)

Good morning everyone. Sun's finally made an appearance here so perhaps the washing might make it to the line today after all!
Hope you all have a good day :)
  • Thanks Nannylala,

I remember messaging Nikki, when one of my twins went for an interview at Cambridge. It flies by, and in September my youngest son will be going to Uni. Hope you have a wonderful time and give my best to Nikki xxx

A meet would be wonderful but there doesn't seem to be anyone in my area that posts on here :o

I'm also pleased you asked the Waities question :). I've got my permanent card and know what I'm meant to look for but not sure if there is an easy way to do it :D

As you are not very tall I would steer clear of trousers that are wide as they will make you look errrr short and well rounded shall I say  start with shoes, a smallish heel or mid height if you wear heels at all. If you want a dress an a-line that doesn't fit too tightly would look good, with maybe a blazer type light weight jacket.
If you want trousers get a slim-line pair with a tunic style top, this will cover and bits you want to hide :)
