Up early to go to the bathroom - looked out and saw a woodpecker (red and black kind) on the ground, but not close enough for a photo, he would have been a little speck.
    Morning all :)

I am concerned about the nationwide urgency for cheap loo paper and I think it must be something dodgy we are all eating for cashback ... Probably all that pepperami type thingies ...:rotfl:

      £2.89 any 2 for £4.50

I've got the Nature Valley sweet chewy bars in poundland a couple if times now, 5 bars in a box, really delicious - we had them when they first came out to sample but mostly they have been too expensive to buy unless there was a coupon.
Other than that OH gets the granola bars in Aldi for under a pound but these are rock hard.

I have just heard something on the local news that has seriously put me off going to Farnborough Air Show this year, especially considering the ticket price.

Apparently there will be no Red Arrows, and only straight and level fly pasts will be allowed.

Now I know this is all because of Shoreham, but that was one idiot flying wrongly, this new rule will kill off air shows!

    Good morning all...

Anon...I found the mattessons savage things in a medium sized A...with the processed pepperami type things but also on an end in the same sort of section.
They are much smaller than the picture suggests not plump and remind me of the insides of the spicy peperami rolls...not really sausage like I had imagined.
would I rush to get them again...no....still have one of the 3 in the fridge and I think it will stay there.
