G24 Ltd New Malden- Homebase

Anyone had any experience of this lot? Just had a ticket for one of our staff turns out he was using the nearly 3 hours to go to a nearby building site. Says he didnt see the signs, think its 90mins free.

Use the newbies faq thread (near the top of the forum) for advice on how and when to start the appeal process.
  • I have just won a popla appeal on Parking Eye but that was 12 mins this is a bit more cut and dry for PPC.

I will send a letter just wonder is they take to court like PE as they have served the notice in 14 days and very similar to beavis case with the long overstay!

Loads of threads on here about G24 over the years, they dont "do" court (yet)

    IPC member so forget popla

use the IPC template, then ignore unless court papers arrive (6 years of ignoring)
  • Says they are BPA on there site but IPC is the appeals is it?

or guy did shop there as well so going to give me his receipt.

They are BPA Corporate members but they are not BPA AOS members so you are correct - appeal to IPC which will almost certainly be rejected and then ignore.

this identity issue comes up on here a lot

they can be members of both organisations, but they pay for the IPC IAS appeal system, the logos are different shapes depending on what type of members they are, which has been covered dozens of times on here

G24 have been IPC members using the IAS for some considerable time, as you will see if you looked at the IPC AOS website (like I did)

dont be fooled, there is NO popla as they dont pay for the BPA ADR service , which is why they are listed on the IPC AOS list

No, only AOS members can get DVLA data. That's why they are in the IPC's AOS.

Not at all. They are just BPA members because they've chosen to remain so, for whatever reason (maybe they like the end of year jolly, who knows).

Anyway most G24 cases we have here are best quashed with an assertive complain to the retail parker or retailer, e.g. Homebase quash these a lot). Other than that, ignore them.

Any firm you get a PCN from, search Google for the words 'BMPA insight into {name of PPC}' and you will see how many court cases they have behind them (G24 = none).

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

NO, clearly you have not thought this through

just think of it as like having a HALIFAX account which has your salary paid in and all the direct debits and standing orders go out of it

and you also have a SANTANDER account with savings in it

2 bank accounts, only one is used for certain tasks

there is nothing to stop you being in both , but only using one for certain purposes
