New generation passed to bailiff?

hi just looking for some advice on a parking letter i had sent to my address from new generationparking for parking in a disabled bay without badge (my own fault i know) anyway they wanted £100 i beleive but after looking the company up i was advised vy many people to ignore them which i did. today i had a letter from a company called FINANCIAL ENFORCMENT COMPANY that said i have 14 days to pay or enforcement proceedings, iv moved out of my parents address since then but they sent the letter to them so they dont even have new address. do i pay or will they go away?

The Financial Enforcement Company will be a debt collection agency not bailiffs, I doubt it says anything like this on their scummy letters does it?

They were only set up in March this year and are trying to frighten you into paying their inflated charges!
The company has exactly the same directors as New Generation Parking, which shows you what a bunch of scammers you are dealing with!

Don't pay debt collectors anything, especially this mob who I believe are acting on the fringe of the law by basically trying to charge you twice!

    As fisherjim says a scam

    Directors of both

Antony Roberts and Paulette Roberts, probably a husband and wife team who thinks this is easy pickings.

How stupid to form a debt collecting scam with the same directors names as the parking company

Ignore such plain stupidity. Suppose the next thing we will hear is that they are claiming benefits ??

Here is a quote from their website. They have only been incorporated for 3 months.

The Financial Enforcement Company (FEC) has offices strategically based around the UK to maximise the opportunity to collect your money. At FEC, we have decades of experience in collecting our client’s debts and employ a team specialist and highly experienced High Court Enforcement Bailiffs to ensure that your debts are paid.

Strangely there isn't a single accreditation to any trade association on their site.

there has to be a court case that you lost , didnt pay the judgment and a CCJ registered against you BEFORE any court registered bailiff can visit you

so no , no debt collector can visit you

IGNORE the debt collectors, they are powerless

NGP have 6 years to take you to small claims court, so expect harassment by these debt collector letters for the next 6 years or so

its all empty threats, because they would have to take you to court and you lose and not pay up once a judge has ruled against you before these threats can be actioned and before your credit rating is affected (a CCJ affects your credit rating)

if you won in court, you can claim up to £90 costs

if it never goes to court, you dont have anything to worry about

bailiffs need a court order before attending, this hasnt been to any court yet

if this happened in england or wales, the people that advised you to ignore it are FOOLS (but you have ignored it so you are past the point of no return)

No they won't ... they're scam artists trying to frighten you into paying their speculative invoice.

    IGNORE!

See this thread. They might have a different name but the advice is exactly the same.

    As everyone says .... IT'S A SCAM

The web site is so unprofessional a kid could have done it
    http://www.thefec.co.uk/

They seem to think that they can act before a court decision.
Even if it went to court and you lost and did not pay, it is only the court who can authorise bailiffs, not DIY merchants
There is no licence showing for them to operate

    THEY SAY ...
"The Financial Enforcement Company (FEC) has offices strategically based around the UK" .... REALLY ??

Is this a nationwide scam then ?

They are threatening and menacing and this is something you must bring to the attention of Trading Standards and your MP for an investigation into Antony Roberts and Paulette Roberts

If bailiffs visit you without proper court paperwork, call the police
