That law is not applicable to selling financial products,are you a secondhand car sales person,it does not apply to new cars or banking?Because it is legal and you can't expect someone to protect you every time you want to buy a good or service.
One must remember that 'caveat emptor' or 'buyer beware' are the basis of a lot of laws in this country..
