kenshaz, you should read dunstonh's post more carefully, since it wasn't Treading Water whose posts he said exhibited stupidity.

You might also find reading dunstonh writing "I would start the complaint anyway because the sooner these scumbags are driven out of the industry the better" of interest if you think his posts only favor those in the business.

Well jamesd I feel that his choice of language does him no credit,I feel that it is demeaning to refer to a person or those within an institution in such a derogative manner.I am not impressed by your attempt to use this in his defense as though he was a beacon for the consumer, nothing could be further from the truth. What he does enjoy is the sight of his own words, in the believe that he is a fountain of knowledge ,that is his driving force.

The paragraph to which you refer,he was I believe making reference to an individual not a banking institution,it was in fact an adviser, and that is off topic in relation to this thread,I therefore suggest that you read the original post more carefully.

I love the way kenshaz is allowed to insult or post negatively towards individuals but no-one else is.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

  • What a great thread! YorkshireBoy's "informative and amusing" post had me in stitches, just brilliant. I loved Kenshaz' response too - show's he has a good sense of fun.

It's nice to see a banter-filled discussion where the OP's questions are answered fully and it's interesting for the bystanders. No one started crying, and no one dragged anybody's (usually mine) kids into this - unlike all the arguments I seem to have gotten into recently!!

    Well done guys :D

Yep, sometimes a person's question is answered in the first few posts of a thread and then the remainder of it is then used for humourous and argumentative comment. Better at the end of a thread than at the start. The guys question was answered and people got to vent. a win-win situation. :)
