    Afternoon All

Hope it is dryer with you it has been rain constantly since yesterday evening.

I have spent the majority of to do doing the children's lessons. Ds has his end of unit assessment for Maths today and did very well :)

I am going out with dd shortly we attend a free monthly group where we doing crafts followed by the children playing in the soft play centre, whilst the adults spend some time together. They also have snacks and drinks, I'm looking forward to my mocha :) My sister is also going and has offered us a lift, so no car costs either. We will be meeting a couple of friends there. I am going to have a few hours of fun with dd and friends without spending anything :money:

Try and pop back later with more, I need to be out the door.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Sounds a fab afternoon BB enjoy it.

Perni Dont worry you will just adapt once your LO is here. Good choice on the pub, I never go anymore but on the one off I do end up there it is shocking to me how much a glass of wine for example is. You can buy a whole bottle for the cost of a glass.

    Stuff I've done
    - Bought Arsda smart price nappies 20 for £1.20. With their wipes at 50p you can sort your baby out for a week for less than one coffee out.
    - Took coffee and snacks out with us
    - Will be doing - package up ebay sales for tommorows post
-Dinner will be simple use it up stuff tonight

    Hello all,
Not done much today as I have been in bed for most of it, after being up nearly all night coughing :( I have asthma, and anything cold related always makes it play up

Haven't felt up to sorting out the rest of the tax stuff I started yesterday :(

Still, on the positive side, I haven't been anywhere to spend anything either :T
Unless you count the charity donation I made to a friend's Just Giving page...

It was pouring with rain when I came downstairs this morning (just before 5) and it kept raining all morning, but is nice and sunny now :)
At least the garden doesn't want watering!

Helped OH to cook a roast beef dinner, which was nice :)
And we had the first of our HG new potatoes which were the best bit :D

Picked a few strawberries to go with our ice cream for dessert :)

And that is about it - hope I can get more done tomorrow, as the house is getting really messy :(

Got off backside and picked and washed a big bag of salad leaves, a bunch of radishes, and some rhubarb which is now cooking in the SC :)

Also fed and watered the pots and troughs of salad leaves, which are in the mini greenhouse so don't get the rain. The front is open all the time now, but it provides a bit of shelter from the wind for them, as some of the leaves are quite delicate (I grow several different kinds) :)

I sold my car today! I'm sad to see her go but not sad about the savings I'll make. I'm going to put the money in the mortgage savings.

We also found an alternative venue for our wedding reception after problems with our original one (it's closed!!!). Hopefully that's a major stress avoided with only 11 weeks to go. It might work out slightly cheaper too but we need to get our deposit back off the old venue. We have insurance if that doesn't go to plan.
