I am trying to convince my family that Amazon vouchers are the best present. I am a bit tired of the "wacky" or "interesting" gift ideas. I love having a nice healthy balance on my Amazon account and can indulge myself with lots of books, the real kind and kindle.
We got my great aunt an Amazon kindlefire in the black Friday sale for about £30 and an amazon card voucher (came in a pretty box with a ribbon on it). She liked all her gifts but said ours was a change from the usual gifts associated with elderly people that she had received from everyone else and she loved it as she said it showed we still though she was "with it". She liked it so much, some of her friends over the year also got one each and they have a "kindle book club" to discuss books. She also had the skype app put on it to skype her great grandaughter in uni and listens to music on youtube.
Mumps, my 14 year old daughter is with you on the Amazon vocuhers as she always asks for these and loves to choose her own books for her kindle.0 -

Yes, I'm there with the teenagers. I've always wanted to be one of those outrageous old ladies who don't act their age and I think I'm getting there:TSell £1500

Where do you both live? How about a nice highland tour with picnic or whisky tasting with B&B Stay? Obviously depending on where you both live0

My MIL chose her 90th present - a hot air balloon trip! She had an absolutely fantastic time.0
