Yep, I'm in Somerset and have had no fibre internet for 10 days now. I phone every 72 hrs to report it still being down. Someone actually phoned me back from Talk talk to tell me it was all fixed but it wasn't.
Although they took 3 available dates from me on 9th June only yesterday did they book an engineer for NEXT Saturday! I wiil have had no service for 18 days by then. And that visit is just to ascertain I haven't damaged the kit, apparently, no sign of any service being resumed on the horizon. It's really not condusive to customer relations to accompany the order with threats of extra charges either - very poor behaviour.
Please don't ask me to go to the community, I can't subscribe because the Captcha doesn't generate a code or picture.
Complete shambles, waste of about 5 hours of my life on the phone so far and the cost of 12gb mifi sims @ £30 each for which I will not be compensated.0 -

Hiya, I'm not aware I can, I'm only 10 months into an 18mth contract. Just had a row with ds who has used up the 12gb I bought yesterday watching videos! So angry, I really can't afford this.0 -

Apologies for hi-jacking your thread again toffe'n'tom but sincerely hope you are up and running again by now.
I'm still without service, currently tethered to my phone to use my iPad.
A talk talk engineer came out last week to confirm that I had not damaged my equipment, also said that a red internet light when it's fibre is really bad news, not something a 3rd party can resolve and talk talk would have known this when I phoned on the 8th June and have just been wasting my time. He phoned talk talk to tell them I needed Open reach.
Having heard nothing for a week, I phoned again today to find out they had not booked an appointment and the next available date is the 18th July! I will have been without internet for 5 weeks and 5 days by then!
I understand now that penalty free exit is allowed after 28 days so I will be phoning this Wednesday to inform them of the shambles.
The person I spoke with today didn't understand the difference between dealing the service issue and my complaint or the difference between refund of service charges and compensation. Is it 6 or 8 weeks before I write to Ofcom?
To the rep: as before my iPad doesn't show the capchure so can't join the community and I don't do twitter, sorry.0 -

Sorry Abbie, as I've already stated, I don't have the first foggiest idea about twitter.
