So really it all comes down to this. Why are you saying it isn't acceptable? Have you been told something? Surely the logic is to ask why - politely- as what is the difference between a flask and a bottle of water. You don't have to leave the flask on the desk, you could put it under your desk.

Yes I remember a company of the very same industry remarking once upon a time, ...you could have anything in that flask and we wouldnt know so that is why I know it probably won't go down with look there is the new lady not fitting in.

As a close I now have the company handbook and shall make a decision as to what happens next as I had make a mistake and really never thought tea.coffee and the whole call centre which I didn't think I was entering into, would come up as an issue again so that is my bad.

It is only an issue because you are making it one.

    I'll make this simple.....

The 'flask incident' was with another company - NOT THIS ONE - so there is no reason to suppose that you can't use a flask in your current job.

So - take a flask or insulated mug and fill it at work just before you start your shift and then refill it at lunchtime for the afternoon.

    Take enough water bottles too.

    Problem solved.

Yes of course, and whilst it it appears to apply to a select few on here, I also happen to believe you have to look after yourself at times and if you aren't happy somewhere why on earth wallow in it.
I'm sure an employer would rather someone said I'm not happy with terms expected at week 1 rather then 6 weeks or 6 months later.

Although as said and a point you seem to miss whilst carrying on with the snide remark's I have a handbook now, so it's really absolutely in black and white and I really would like this closed.

Thank you. Time for me now as I'm not prepared to let my heath dwindle any further then it has and I'll make no apology for that.
Whilst I didn't want to sink to your level I'm afraid I'm sorry if you wake up every morning dreading work.

What is really absolutely in black and white?

You've still not addressed why the water suggestions are not an option for you.

I'm surprised you have a job at all as you seem to have very poor problem solving and organisational skills!

Why can't you just take a larger bottle of water or maybe two bottles of water so you don't run out, It's a pretty obvious solution.

I wouldn't bother. We've all said the same thing but she won't give us an answer. She just said that she has tried it but she ran out of water, so all I can imagine is she drinks more than 4 or 5 litres in 6 hours which I find amazing.

Buy one or two screw cap bottles, half fill them with water, pop them in the freezer, pull them out in the morning and fill to the top with water.

Pop a couple of caffeine pills, if necessary.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
