Coping without much refreshments whilst at work

Where has the op said she has been firbidden to have a cuppa ?
Where has the op said that she's not allowed a drink during working hours?£/
And where have I said smokers at my company have the same struggling restrictions, which you also seem to make an unwarranted reference to.
These same smokers are the ones who don't appear to drink fluids so yeah perhaps it is an additional something I should take up
I was sat in another department for a while today and it gulled me that someone could go to the loo twice in that time unbreakish, leaving me totally alone, that said they have probably worked for the company x years and do not answer a continuous ringing phone.
One of the managers did later come around and made reference if you give someone some rope they may just be good or something like that - I realised then the very contentious issues of this particular employer.
Again I repeat was looking for ideas in as much as I have headaches and a dry throat making it pretty unbearable after a while to speak even so there is lots that comes of the back of not enough fluid intake.0

But everyone has suggested that you take more bottles of water with you if you keep running out. Why can't you do that?0

And several times it has been suggested that you get a water bottle or two. Or speak to a manager about drink arrangements.
I must be missing something here. The solutions seem obvious!0

Also, stop worrying about not being able to drink tea or coffee - they aren't any good for you and you will soon get used to just drinking water. I only drink water and haven't had a hot drink for decades.0

So if smokers can go have a smoke, can you please clarify why you can't have a cuppa or go get a drink of water?
I'm sorry but your op makes no mention of it being a workplace rule that you are not allowed to drink whilst at work
If the rules are a coffee break is set after six hours then that's tough. But that doesn't stop you taking water
So please, for the sake of clarification, what are the rules about drinking during your working hours?0

 Oh just do go away.
Where you the poster who once said, you doubted nobody could ever be timed?
Don't make me find that post now!
Just for the benefit of you and other posters who can't read nor see out of the box, I have taken bottles in and that these run out after so long - I have no way of refilling and I'm aware my colleagues don't drink for Britain! :cool:0

I'm not sure that even makes sense.
How large are these bottles? If you're not going to the toilet all morning they can't be that big. Have you thought of taking a larger bottle?0

How much do you drink in 6 hours. Can you really drink more than 2 bottles (4 litres) in 6 hours? If so, can't you take more bottles in each day so you don't run out?0

 Seriously???
You can not take into work enough liquid refreshment to last you 5.5 hours?
There are no drinking water taps in the building ?
Can I ask, how do you manage to get 8 hours sleep a night?0

1st, why the hek are you guys arguing? SMH.
2nd WOW, i bring my big flask in every day, sometimes, cofee, sometimes tea, sometimes hot water. We also have a machine that does everything under the sun free of charge about 30 seconds away so i guess we are lucky. I have NEVER seen an office environment that has an issue with you drinking (not THAT kind of drinking) or bringing a flask!!! fill your cup and put the flask under your desk or in your drawer, simple. But if you cant then you will have to wait till lunch if you are not allowed to make coffee... for some strange reason....
Do you guys have barcodes on the back of your necks by any chance?0
