I think (the bits in bold) are incorrect info.
I think the rates quoted are correct . The 2% account was a legacy offering from the Lloyds-TSB days and was upgraded to 5% as part of the new TSB offerings after the split.0 -

Sounds about right. My 2% TSB regular saver matures on 22 June and I remember being livid when they announced the 5% one about a week or so after I opened it last year. I went searching for T&Cs to see if I could close within a 14 day cooling off period and reopen at 5%, but they'd still have made me wait a year to open a new one so I stuck with it.
Thank you to the posters who've heard about a drop. I shall be quick off the mark to renew at 5% on 23rd if it's still available!0 -
Fourth? Thought you were only allowed three between two people. one each and a joint.
I opened my 2nd sole a/c a few months ago not realising you are now only allowed 1 sole and 1 joint a/c. Before, you were allowed two sole a/cs.
However, it appears Santander are happy to pay me the full 3% on my second account and taking their £5 monthly fee so I will keep it open for now.0 -

Again rubbish info on my behalf.
Apologies.0 -
Wait... I never knew about this. 5% on £250 a month?
I can open one now and get the 5% rate for a year or is it not fixed?0 -
you can, and it's fixed..
"Get an interest rate of 5.00% Gross/AER* fixed for a year."

I've lost track.
Am I right to say there is absolutely no evidence that the 5% rate is being removed?0 -

Some people have been told it by TSB staff, which is oral evidence, but there's nothing online or in print to back it up, so the evidence isn't conclusive.0
