I received my maturity letter no mention of the drop of interest, but you just don't know, just need to wait and find out.

Thanks for the heads-up.
I've one 'maturing' at the end of June - got the renewal letter some weeks ago so was just assuming I'd be able get on board the 5% again.

If TSB do drop the rate, there is still the Santander monthly saver at 5% on £200 a month.
Not as good I know but something to consider.Earn, Save and Achieve0 -

B@gger.
Got the letter same time as you but mine matures 3rd July.
If regular savings rate keep on falling, we may have to open a fourth Santander 123 a/c.
At least our Lloyds regular a/cs matured 3 months ago before the rate drop.0 -

Apologies - mine is due to 'mature' end of June.
I might just sneak in but I doubt it now that people at branch level know of the impending drop.0 -

Scrub that!Just checked my letter and it says the same (30th June). My SO funds on the 3rd of the month. I opened it whilst out of the country last summer, but can't remember whether I did it on the 1st, ie launch day, or I didn't spot it straight away? Were we able to open and fund in the same application session? I think we were? Seem to remember we were saying at the time how quick and easy it was?
On my spreadsheet I have:
Opened on 1/7/15
Funded on 2/7/15
Matures 30/6/16
Note I have edited these!0 -
Damn, I was going to start one in September to complete my quarterly quartet: HSBC, First Direct, Nationwide, TSB.
Matures every three months, a Worm Ouroboros, endlessly feeding upon itself.
It's taken me a year to get the planets to align.0 -
