In my head I knew it was too good to be true, but in black and white right in front of us it said Frist Class so it had to be worth paying for incase it was.
I think there are a couple of different ways to approach this
1) If you genuinely would not have selected these flights had you known they are economy and are looking for more special flights (or even different economy flights) and do not want to use them. Make your case with STA and see what they offer...minimum should be refund
2) If you plan to use the flights anyway as they were a good option from the economy fares offered then I would still make a complaint with STA...nothing ventured nothing gained
If you are genuinely considering business class+ for your trip. It is worth going a little off-piste and looking at DUB as a starting point and you should be able to do business class for around £1k each (with add on flights this is still around half the price of the same flights from London)0 -
Having got through to them this morning they have accepted that I was misled into purchasing an incredibly (laughably) cheap 1st class ticket. They submitted my pictures to their Internet team to check the 'error' and a likely full refund will follow.0

So the error was on STAs website ? This will be interesting, as it would be their fault, but they've booked you non refundable tickets (your credit card won't care, and 14 day cooling off doesn't apply to airline tickets).
Please do update us if STA refund you as it will likely have to come from their pockets.
Lastly, airlines have no legal obligation to honour error fares (on their own websites.) They normally do, but are also known to cancel them last minute.Legal team on standby0
