Congrats ahall! Makes it so satisfying to see it going down day by day, even if only by a few pennies :)

I am quite literally on countdown as payday is tomorrow and tomorrows PAD will take me into 4 figures of debt rather than 5....I don't know how long I'll be able stay awake for but I'm tempted to try to stay up until it goes in just so I can make the payment....how very sad of me :o

    Hi ahall3519,

Yeah have a look at the website, it's really good and there are others if weddingspot doesn't turn out to be your thing.

I also have a barclaycard, and I have simply set them up as a payee on my online banking (they give you the account details on their website), and you simply use your credit card number as the reference so that they can credit your payment to the correct account. I pay random little amounts sometimes and I see the deduction in my barclaycard balance almost immediately. But I use my current account online banking to do this, I don't make the payment on the barlcaycard website, so maybe that is the difference...?

Have done this for a while...go padders on paying off directly from Current account. Ditto these 'pay off BC' posts!:money:

Many thanks everyone for the advice! I shall look to make extra payments from my online banking! :)

for that wee thought you deserve a wee gift :)coffeebath.gif
I batch cook in my slow cooker, I freeze it for up to one month and it's always tasted fine. :) I cook chilli, bolognese, pie fillings and curries. Pie fillings are great, I just hear through and add a puff pastry top.

Making thine own pies.I am not worthy!!! I just buy from supermarket/pie shop LOL I make my own bread (just soda bread - quick and easy) and mayo and coleslaw (only realised it was slaw I was making when heard the recipe on the radio. How dumb is that? I was doing it cos carrots and cabbage are so cheap!!!)

But I'm happy cos this is first sane day since Tuesday afternoon. You know you are head sick when you can't make a pot of tea (even though you know you need it) and you've phoned the crisis line 3 times on a weekday afternoon!!! tnp.gif nuff said!!!

    Happy Friday! :D
Bank round down for me today of £4.50 to credit card. I've checked TCB this morning and £10 has gone payable so I'll PAD that once it's cleared to the bank.

Hoping it's the start of a good day :)

Thanks swimminginaseaofdebt - I can honestly say it is this thread which has been the most beneficial to me in the past 13 months - I'm so much further than I ever expected at this point, and all because I now think about what I spend as something to effect my PADding, rather than just a little treat or splurge.

Once I'm debt free I plan to stay here for my savings PADs :D
