    Afternoon All,

I hope that you're having a good day? I'm starting to see a hopeful glint of sunshine here although it's still bitterly cold lol.

Yesterday, 19th January 2017, we PADded a nice tidy sum of £86.72, keep going everyone. :j

And I'm impressed Chappie that you've managed to pay so much off your Argos card through selling things! :T

    Keedie,
    xx

Hi all, another £1 to the loan.

My debt total will be going back up again soon as we need to trade my car back in (on PCP & in negative equity) for a bigger, 5 door one with the baby on the way. Taking out a loan is much cheaper than car finance (3.3% from the bank vs 9% from car dealer ) but will whack my total right back up. :( New lender offers a 2 month payment break at the start of the loan (nothing signed as yet) so won't add new debt to my sig straight away, just feeling a bit deflated that the total will be rising (again) and have only recently gotten under 9K.:(
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

    Life happens hun icare.gif

For me? Cooker died last night and the prices of cooker's aint cheap....

So have ordered a halogen oven - but first things first - disconnecting the old cooker and shifting it to bin room. Have a blanket to put it on so it doesn't kill the laminate in the corridor - here's hoping and praying I can do all this without causing any injury (I figure if I can rewire an e-cig safely I can disconnect an electric cooker - youtube is my friend)

    Hi All,

    Our PAD for 20th January 2017 was a lovely £177.10 :)

Sashybo - don't worry about it going up, as Erme said, life happens. Mine increased by a few thousand last year, and it was really disheartening at the time. But I didn't use it for anything frivolous, and a sensible car is a good purchase. Besides, you did it the MSE way, as you looked for the cheapest way to borrow the money, so it may go up temporarily, but it'll come down a lot quicker than if you'd opted for the car finance option :group hug:

Erme, I hope that the flooring stays in tact and it's not too hard to replace/move the cooker. :)

    Keedie,
    xx
