Keep in mind they are not cold callers, they are fraudsters

Look at the post #4 to get idea what they have done to other people

Do you need to be nice to a fraudster the one who intend to empty your bank account ??

No, you've missed the point, but then if I have to repeat myself you probably still wouldn't get it.

    who care ...
    My point here is that.
I will be wasting their time and resources first might be play a nice guy and then verbal abuse them at the end ....

I just feel it's preferable to be the "better person". If you shout and swear they probably laugh at you knowing how they've managed to wind you up. .

    Here we go ....
Did you laugh at people who were abusive to you and had wasted your time and resources ???? Well not me ...

I wonder if you abused the call center agent or customer service and the agent would be laughing at you instead of reporting you to be banned??

You can certainly waste their time, by all means do so, but why be abusive and nasty? It really doesn't make you sound like a nice person.

Thank you, I have rephrased my post to reflect how lovely and nice the lady was in helping me with my computer problems.

Though I had to laugh, I was using a tablet!

These calls aren't necessarily related to the talk talk hack, the data they got from that wasn't particularly useful.

These are more phishing exercises and they just use the company to piggy back off, they do the same posing as BT.

I have had dozens of these calls and they are very plausible including the sound effects of a call centre in the background!
Some of these operatives have become abusive because I sensibly suggested I would ring them back.
I have had 2 from BT this week!
    My new response is;
Before you go any further due to the number of fraudulent calls I am receiving this phone is now being monitored by the police with a view to prosecution.
I then count to 5 in my head......their gone.:)

"Talk talk will never ring you" was the comment from them.

    Fortyfoot

If that's true then it's lamentable.

Why wouldn't a communications company call you in regard to your account/technical issue?

I've had a number of these calls offering to help with my IT issues

I asked the last one if this was the help where 'I give you remote access to my laptop and you scam me?' Bless her, she said 'yes madam, it is'

It would be funny if they weren't crooks

I've had these calls since long before the TalkTalk hack

How did you know she was Asian and is it relevant?
