You could buy a car for that much :rotfl:0 -

You could buy a car for that?
Last car I bought (new) has three cylinders, 1,000cc, 75hp and cost just over £10,000. It has heated seats and air conditioning.
Last bike I bought (new) to join the others in the garage also has three cylinders, 2,300cc, nearly 150hp and cost £15,700 with accessories - but no heated seats or aircon!
The best bit is the bike cost far less to insure!
Both are doing well and neither will need to be rejected. Thankfully.0 -

Good luck with her not noticing then !

Ah, but the car probably weighs less than the Rocket. And you can't/won't put a small fraction of the miles on the bike...
What's average annual mileage for a big bike? A couple of thousand?0 -

I've had my new bike (litre superbike) for five weeks now, and it's had its running in service (600mi) today. I typically do about 6K a year, riding in all weathers.0 -
2k a year ? Some of these boys do that in a week !
