Hi All
On MSEs eligibility checker this Halifax 23 month 0% fee free card comes up at 50% chance of approval not great i know but thats the best % approval on a 0% Fee free credit card i can get. Is it worth a gamble. I have some debts on credit cards but i now have the funds to pay them off. But thought if i could get one of these fee free cards i could keep that money in my 5% interest bank account and make some money on it while paying it off over the 23 months. As for the eligibility checkers on MSEs checker I got a guaranteed acceptance for the MBNA 40 month 0% with 2.55 fee but with MBNAs own checker they would only offer 18 months 0% 3.5 fee card. Wasn't after it but was just interested if they would come out the same.
Any how what your thoughts on the the Fee free halifax card.
Thanks Richard W:money:

50% is literally toss of a coin, if you haven't too many recent searches and no urgent need for too much credit in the future then it's worth a punt.
If you get rejected there's still money to be made from the mbna offer as a fallback.0 -
Are you a Halifax customer at all?
If you are the website might have credit card offers for you.0 -
it's difficult to say, I've had an 80% eligible before, then declined. I've also had a "not eligible" and was accepted after further checks.0

Halifax have their own eligibility checker on their website http://www.halifax.co.uk/creditcards/eligibility-checker/
