  • Parsnip - you are doing fab.

I am doing hot spots and pieces as I see them - once done I will read my Marie Kondo book again and go through everything again.

I actually filed my paperwork as it came in this week - I was so pleased with myself. Usually it would hang about for weeks/months downstairs, then I would move it upstairs where it would sit in a box waiting to be filed.

I thought you were going to say your DH had 50 pairs - I think 10 is quite reasonable but then DH has about 15 and I have about 40. I hate shoe shopping as my feet are wide and not many styles fit me so when I find a pair that does I buy even if I don't need it right at that moment. And don't get me started on boots - wide calves and boot shopping do not mix well!!

    Hope the party went well.

I have the same issues with boots and shoes. Wide feet after years in docs. Plus I just don't like shoe shopping. He buys his of the internet which I could never get away with.

I've not done any sorting today. I'm going to do a little later on. Perhaps clear the stairs. One positive is that the washing is being put away.:j

Feeling pooped today so just a few jobs.

Love the idea of the 30 bags in 30 days, and 15 bags in 7 days is pretty impressive.

Re: Marie Kondo, she says when you take your clothes off and put them away, you should smooth them and thank them for the job they've done. I started doing and finding it strangely soothing. :D

You have 40 pairs of jeans Elephant?? I swear I'm missing the female gene. Have 3 pairs of running tights that I live in. And that's it pretty much. No jeans. My wardrobe fits into one drawer :)

Nope I read that completely wrong! 40 pairs of shoes not jeans. Sorry.

    Morning diary.

Its been a funny old week. I felt wiped out earlier on which i thought was due to the big throw out, but no, come Friday night I looked like Rudolph. Feeling a bit more normal now so back to it today.

I have cleared out 15 bags so far and have 16 days to go. I was a week ahead but never mind.

Money wise I have had my final @quacard bill. £35 just for interest . Tomorrow that wiil be paid off and good riddance to it. I will have the same with v@nquis but that will be gone soon too. I will then need to close that one but I'm feeling nervous about not having it which is stupid because I didn't have credit for years on DMP. This afternoon my budget will be my focus to make me feel a bit more confident.

Right ho. Time for more bags.:T
