your local CEX or cash convertor/generator type store may have cheap 2nd hand ones

You can also bid on some Chinese made tat. This DOOGEE Valencia2 Y100 Plus went for £41.
Not Marshmellow, but should be good enough for most things.

This likely has a really old Android version on it. My daughter used to have one and I'm sure it had Android 2.2 or something. Not good value for that price.

I would avoid secondhand because more than likely the battery will be on the way out
