Wee man is fantastic. He had a tongue tie so the lactation consultant came and snipped it today and now he feeds soooooo much better. I've had a lovely day with friends visiting and family being here. I wish I wasn't so tired. I am so so tired and I think that once life settles again next week I will feel so much better.
Getting the monkeys into bed now and then I'm watching a moving with eldest dd and my mum and then I'll be off to bed.

The cotton eye joe is slang for chlamyfia because they detect it by using cotton swabs around the opening to the urethra on a male.

1880 in the South it was referred to by Mark Twain as an old familiar song. So even before that.

People of course wanted to know what cotton eyed meant but an STD was a much later idea. It's kind of like how people will say a song is about drugs when the song writer (recently) said he wrote it about a girl. Robert Plant Stairway to Heaven. People put their own interpretations on things.

Hi all,
sorry I've been so absent lately, I'm so tired from feeding wee man most of the night and I'm really stressed about my budget and looking for a new house.
It seems that I've just got on top of my budget and now its all messed up as I'm going to have to find removal costs etc.
Ill be better in a few days, I'm just enjoying my little man right now and getting over childbirth and the hormones.
