I'm sure he won't be long, now, Kim. Did you get your swim?
He's really quiet today- not a lot of contractions or heavy movement really, more slowly but still moving iyswim, maybe he's getting his energy together to come out!
His head is so so low.
NSD today, granny is visiting so the kidlets are playing in the garden and I'm catching 15 mins on sofa while there is another grown up around.Just a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0 -
Hi Kim, I followed your other long thread on another part of the forum, found you again by chance.
Read through all the posts and just wanted to say how much i
you as a parent, you sound so brave and up beat. Your children are so blessed to have such an amazing, loving and hard working mum. I really wish you well, and hope that all goes ok with the birth of your little boy. I will follow this thread with great interest, hugs to you and all your kiddies.:T:T:T2020 Stash makes/destash 61/1500 -
Hi Kim+8, excuse me for gate-crashing but I've been working my way through your thread and just wanted to say you sound like you're doing an awesome job! How exciting that you're about to have a new little boy too
So if it's ok, I'll keep reading and drawing some inspiration from you..Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
Thanks guys- still no baby and no contractions at all today and I've been doing the 'flylady' thread so that I'm encouraging baby to come. I guess he will make an appearance when he is ready!
NSD again today, my sofa bed is arriving either tomorrow or Wednesday so will be eagerly awaiting that! I'm looking forward to sleeping on my own for a few night till baby comes, as much as I love sharing with my daughter she is a terrible sleeper and rolls around so much that it keeps me awake!
Not a NSD tomorrow as I need to buy a quilt and some sheets for the new bed and some cushions but taking this from my budget for 'blow it money' which has been £10 but I have a few months worth saved up for some pretty bedding!
I found a protector sheet thingy in my airing cupboard and will be using the quilt cover and pillows I already have to save money there.
I need to do a trip to the tip at some point but not sure how with no car lol! I must see if I can get someone to help me do a tip run in exchange for cake! :-)Just a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0 -

Where is that baby!
I've eaten my weight in curry and pineapple, been for long walk and to park with the kids, put sofa bed together, kondo'd a load of my stuff, packed and repacked my hospital bag, been grocery shopping, walked and walked but still.... Nothing!
Got midwife again on Tuesday and consultant next Friday to book induction if he still isn't here- little monkey!Just a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0 -
