I'm not sure which option to disable in Nero to stop Scout being installed? None of them seem relevant. Two screenshots as not all the options fit in one shot and I couldn't enlarge the box

I expected it to say scout but don't know which one that relates to here, thanks again

I'm sure that, during installation of Nero 7, is an option to configure Nero Scout. You can simply disable it then.0

OK, I'll give it a try, but when I tried it the first time I literally had no time at all before it just sponged up all the resources and I was unable to do anything, so there'd better be an option.I'm sure that, during installation of Nero 7, is an option to configure Nero Scout. It seems a stupid feature to include, the tutorial link you posted earlier shows that they know it's a resource hog, so including it on a trial software and expecting someone to go ahead and buy the product afterwards is a tall order.0 -
I didn't install Home either and de-selected all associations. Wasn't keen on Nero taking over my computer. Other than that, it does the job.
I didn't have any problems with Nero Scout, I just didn't want or need the feature.0
