Recently in Spain attempted to draw cash, refused.
Spoke to Customer Services who informed me I could only draw £2000 in the lifetime of the card, irrespective of the fact that all previous withdrawals had been paid off. Has anyone ever heard of this limitation before

I've never heard of any such restriction.
Will try and lookout my Ts and Cs when I get home but I've never had any issues and I've had the card since it was first launched (2007/2009??)0 -
Sounds like a load of baloney. My guess is they are trying to limit people in their use of the card especially since you can no longer apply for it/they are losing money in with the 0 fees abroad, in order to get them to eventually close the card account.
Send them a secure message via on-line banking to see what they say.
You haven't tried to withdraw more than half of your cash limit or anything like that which might explain it?I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I did wonder if it was a ploy to get people to stop using the card. Will contact them again.0

I've certainly exceeded that figure.
I withdraw £300 to £600 a month on Zero and have done for a few years.0 -
I am talking about the credit card not debit card0

I have Santander Zero Credit card as well that I have been having it for about six years (e.g. quite similar age to my Santander Zero Debotcard). But I have not used it to withdraw cash as I still have other more better way of withdrawing cash abroad.
Indeed, it seems they try to limit their usage, my limit is just £500, e.g. same limit when I first got it. I have asked for limit increase twice, no luck so far.
Ironically they gave me another credit card with limit of about £8,000, 0%, £0 fee on balance transfer.0 -

In my case, I was talking about the CC. I don't have any other account with Santander. Looking back, I have taken out about £6000 in the last 12 months.0 -

What is the limit you get with your Santander Zero Creditcard ?
Did you manage to get a limit increase request ?0 -

My limit was originally £7500 (I think). They increased it to £8100 and it's been that for a long time. I've never asked them to increase it because frankly I only use it for cash (and a backup for purchases in case Clarity fails) and send payment a few days later. So my balance is "zero" (!) most of the time. I'm pretty sure that when I opened the account, only half the limit was available for cash advances, but that dropped off pretty quickly.
They jacked the APR up to 35%. I don't mind that, it's still only pence.
About a year ago I got a card for an additional cardholder.
The daily limit is £300. I've never asked them to change that either. I don't know if it's per card/or £300 on the account.0
