It is pretty childish ,,,,,, it wastes time and costs the service money. I wonder how much extra is being put on a stamp to handle the childishness of such people? Maybe grow up a bit and we could all save a few pence.
Lighten up. We all have our funny little ways, as my granny used to say. And she was a bank robber. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

This has nothing to do with the Post Office.IITYYHTBMAD0

Why is the comment from tykesi worthless?
Irrespective of any generation difference, the Post Office do not deliver mail (junk or otherwise) and to state otherwise is simply wrong.

If you want to send the junkmail sender a costly reminder not to bother you, then take out the return envelope, find and wrap an old brick, stick the freepost (or pre-paid) envlope to the front of the parcel and take it to the Post Office.
The company that sent you the rubbish in the first place will get their envelope back, but at a much higher cost than they put on the envelope.Never Knowingly Understood.

I opted our address out of receiving this unaddressed mail. It seemed fine for a while, then one day, a load of it was put through the letter box, together with the door to door opt out notice from the sorting office. I put the whole lot into a large envelope with a polite covering letter, addressed it to the sorting office and put it in a post box. I didn't bother with a stamp.0

ARandomMiser,
There was me thinking that it was only youngsters who had tantrums when someone said or did something that they didn't like.
It might be a good idea if you were to follow your own advice and:ARandomMiser wrote: »Maybe grow up a bit.
Referring to people's comments as worthless and pedantic simply because you don't agree with them isn't really the sign of a mature adult is it?
Correcting something is not pedantic.0 -
ScarletMarble,
Do you have a regular postie? and if so, do you ever get a chance to speak to them?
I used to have the same problem and despite filling in and returning the required forms, the junk mail kept coming.
A quick word with my postman sorted it out and he made sure that my details were correctly added onto the opt out list.0 -
