How long is your commute?

Just wondered how long your commute is, and at what point would you turn down a job because the commute was too long?
Currently I work in a fairly well paid job and I drive 45 mins each way to work each day - obviously adding another 1.5 hours to my day - I can be out of the house almost 12 hours 5 days a week
I have never really thought much of this to be honest as it is all normal to me, until someone I know said she had turned down a well paid job to work almost minimum wage ten minutes from home.
I commute only 15 minutes and my limit is 40. Work already takes up too much of my living time0 -
ranges between 15 minutes to around 90 minutes (or more with traffic)
I work in various locations so it just depends where I am each day.0 -
Currently about 10 minutes, the location is changing though and it will become 45mins+ when the office does relocate I will hand in my notice and look closer to home. I don't earn a great deal and to me the drive isn't worth it.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

My commute is between 30 & 45 minutes at the moment; a 10 minute walk, a 10 minute tram ride, and another 10 minute walk. The variability is because of having to wait for the tram which, as it runs along a main road artery into the city, varies its arrival time depending on traffic.
My previous commute was 45 minutes each way by road - 15 minutes on a standard A-road and then 30 minutes down a single track road. I loved it, the only hold-up would be cows on the road.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I've been commuting 1 hour 40 mins each way across London for over 10 years. However I'm a mum now and find it tiring so when job hunting next year I'll insist on somewhere nearer. I don't think it's possible I could get it down to under an hour but as near as would be good, however my priority will be to find something well paid to start at the right time. So 1 hour 20 will be my absolute max but I'll try hard for a bit less.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

Mines just under 40 minutes each way.
However, my local station is both a train and tube station and its quicker to get the train but it doesn't run as frequently as the tube so being just a few minutes further away would add much more time onto the journey.
I wouldn't mind a longer commute in the morning, I'm never in a hurry to get to the office. A longer commute in the evening would bother me though. I was brought up to have my tea at 17:00 but I don't finish work till 17:30 and therefore get home around 18:10 and then I have to cook it, so I already have my tea too late for my liking so wouldn't want it later.
Saying all that, money talks. If I got an offer to be paid twice as much but the commute time would double then I'd do it, but I doubt that would happen.0 -
6 mins, 1 1/2 miles. I feel quite lucky though. I had a 30-35 minute commute for the first part of this year, but transferred to the local campus.0

Zero - I took a working from home job about nine years ago .
Everytime I look at other jobs I calculate the fares, other expenses and time to travel to and from and decide I'm better off staying where I am.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

If I were changing job I would expect to need to move house too, so I guess it is the other way round: what commute would I put up with for a house I liked. Though the commute is one of the several reasons I decide I don't like jobs in London.
My current commute is around 20/25 minutes door to desk depending on buses. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Roughly an hour each way.
5 minute walk to the station, 43 minutes on the train then 7 minute walk from station to work.
(And the reverse on the way home).0
