It is meant to be a nationality identifier.I was told that you can't have the Scottish Flag instead of the GB one.
There are allowances for some explicitly listed regional identifiers, but if you take that exception, it doesn't allow you to not use a nationality plate.

I would be perfectly happy driving in Europe with the GB/EU plate, whilst being even happier after we leave that bunch of corrupt, £-stealing bunch of bureaucratic dictators. Then I could be positively blissfull, driving around the EU with my UK number plate.
Lectures from the Polizei would be answered in fluent Deutsch.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
