Windows 10

Microsoft seem to be desperate to force this onto everybody. Even asking whether to upgrade now or later -- no never option.

It is probably very good but it trashed my 8.1 laptop, taking an hour to spring to life after installation -- and every time since. Still FUBAR after reverting to 8.1, which I was happy with.

On my desktop I have used Never10, a utility which gives you the choice whether you want reminders or not. These is even an option to remove the relevant files from Windows. As I never intend to upgrade, I did this. If you are finding Microsoft's strong-arm methods annoying, I really recommend Never10. Oh, and it's free.

I understand in the past they do not allow upgrading of Windows Enterprise.

What is the curretn situation, is it still the same policy ??

    Thanks

Depends what Enterprise Agreement and Software Assurance the company has agreed with Microsoft.

I really wish people wouldn't post such things on the web, less technical people may believe that, and it is totally wrong and unfounded ..... Cortana actually puts your children up for sale on ebay.
