Personally, while I use mobile boarding passes I always like to have a proper paper one as a backup. I've never flown with FlyBe but on BA you can print off a boarding pass and still use the mobile app.
I do the same. I have had mobile boarding passes with BA and Easyjet but always keep copies in printed format too. I am flying to Dublin with BA the week after next.0 -
At least three times, in the early days of the easyJet app, my boarding pass had evaporated by the time I reached the boarding gate. The staff could see that I was checked in so they just wrote a paper pass for me. The last time there was no stock to write it on, so one of them escorted me aboard. I can't vouch for Flybe as I don't think I have flown with them, but as long as you are checked in I doubt you would be denied boarding because of technology failure, theirs or even yours.Evolution, not revolution0

I keep an electronic version on both my phone and my iPod and this hasn't happened to me yet but i do also have paper copies as a back up.0 -
I may have to backtrack on my suggested method of getting the boarding card onto a phone, I checked in to Flybe online last night and where previously it allowed me to select the method of receiving the boarding pass it now goes straight to printing it. I wonder if they are trying to enforce use of the app for mobile boarding passes, if they are I think they're going to be sorely disappointed unless they vastly improve the app.0

Thanks for the feedback.
i think I'll just check in at the airport then, especially as we have Special Assistance anyway, which fast tracks us through the check in and security queues.0
