    Good morning :)

Another NSD clocked up yesterday, slowly slowly. Tuesday ordered hoss food and few top up fresh fruit bits. Have £70 left in current a/c, again only probably need about £15 on fresh top up bits and frozen chips etc, hopefully not even that much, over a week till payday but should be plenty and be able to transfer the "spare" to savings.

Strawberry shortcake not made yet, but made strawberry tart as had pastry in the freezer which has been languishing there for yonks. Lots more strawberries to pick so the cake next :)

Trying to organise my life a bit more, wrote a massive to do list of what I want to do in the house, life etc and am determined to try and do something small everyday, rather than come home, do hoss and then lounge in front of the tv. So yesterday sorted out my electric fence, had taken down from field but was just in a big heap, took 45 minutes but all neatly wrapped up now. Store at yard needs a tidy up so I can stash it away somewhere nicely but hopefully can do in a few days.

Will be extra late to do hossie tonight, least sun in shining, as off to see nephew in his school play, taking dad too, they are doing Lion King :)

Looking at current savings and they are minimal at present, but looking at what I currently have set up, its £600 a month, so over £7K a year, now at the moment I can only do this if I keep my lodger, which for now is ok. If my current lodger wants to leave then I would need to re-think the strategy as to whether to get another but for now its ok and am pleased can save so much for now, as soon as savings targets met and then can start putting some of this money towards overpaying the mortgage :)

Morning, thanks for dropping by, lovely to have visitors.

So a lovely weekend, started of not so great as had to go to work for an hour on saturday morning to send an urgent parcel, but after that went great. Went with sister, dad and nephew to local parish day, about £15 spent, on rides etc for nephew, expensive but nice to see him happy. Sunday cleared field of poo, yawn, then aired the house and did all my washing and dried on the line. Then sister popped over with nephew again in the afternoon, I dyed her hair and she sorted out some bits that she wanted to take to school.

Because of money needed for parish day and money spent on parcel am down to £11 in bank account, bah, payday hopefully friday so not long to go. Also have about £20 ish in reclaimable expenses so not as bad getting to the end of the month as could be.

Saved the best till last, sunday evening put on my brave pants and rode my hossie, just me and her, 5 mins long reining to get her listening and then walk/trot in school and then 10 min stroll round the roads. Very good and listened :D If its not too hot later going to try again.

This is the best view on a sunny sunday evening

    Good morning :)

So spent a few pennies on lunch yesterday, determined not to do again today so last night even though I was tired got some bread out the freezer and boiled some eggs, I sometimes have soup for lunch but on hot days like these nice to sit in the park so lots of MFW points ticked for me :)

Spent another lovely day in the sun yesterday, park life at lunchtime, sitting in the garden having dinner after work and then another lovely ride on my fab hossie in the evening. Quick 5 minutes long reining as it helps her to listen, 15 minutes in the school walk, trot and halt transitions and slowly working on circles and then 15 minutes around the road. On the whole listened, few silly moments but pleased overall :) My position is shocking I am sure but for now not worrying about that as long as the hoss is going nicely can worry about me later!

Came back last night and ordered big tub of fly spray for the hoss, used most of my saved up amazon vouchers so no extra pennies spent.

I did an order from BHS sale last week, returned one item, waiting for confirmation but keeping one, paid on my CC, with the few pennies left in my bank account that was going to full short to cover the costs, but £9 odd landed in my account, the cashback from rewards account, so have enough to cover it without breaking into savings. Means no "spare" from current account to go into savings this month but at least no having to break into next months budget. My expenses can go straight into savings.

Am overall very pleased how I am managing to budget well and still have a life without skimping too much and saving too :D

    Good morning :)

Payday and friday :D All new budgets et up, money put aside to pyay of CC from last month included. So spent few pennies yesterday but did online grocery shop, used CC to get loyalty points, comes out of this months budget, had £18 of £60 shop so good savings, due for delivery tomorrow.

Lovely evening spent with the hoss again last night, long reined and rode again, super pleased about the way she is going :D Going to see if I can get my trainer back soon for a lesson as always good to have someone to have another perspective.

Got to spend a few pennies today need to get a sandwich (other food bought in for lunch) and some squash for home as run out before delivery, typical!

Good morning! Yawwwwn super tired, took sister to airport at 4am this morning, came back to late to go to bed so put hoss out at 5.30, is a lovely day, mucked out, home relaxing bath and to work. Feeling it now though, could do with a sleep, definitely an early night needed!

So lovely weekend, nephew overnight on friday, he played with the yard owner and his sown and they had a massive water fight whilst I did the hoss, great fun. Got my food delivery, very easy.

Was going to be a NSD but bro in law had unexpected bill that had cropped up, had offered to buy him a new phone in return for some major DIY help, but his phone is ok so ended up paying the bill instead, £267  slightly more than I had planned (thinking £150). Of course dont have that money spare so have raided my savings accounts, taken out of insurance fund, with money I am saving though will have enough to reach target so ok. I have loads of DIY jobs planned so he will more than work of the bill! When he is back from holiday first mission is to build wardrobe doors, have them just need assembling, then can re-paint my bedroom, he can put some pictures up and ta-dah one room finished in my house :) Then he can start on the hall, had it re-plastered but it all needs sanding down and then re-painting, an awkward job but good to do. Have some money in the house fund for paint and going to save up to replace the carpet. Then just the rest of the house to do, one day.

Sunday spent pennies too, spent £25 on swimsuit, I dont have one, I cant swim, am scared of the water/panic. But brave pants put on yesterday and went in the pool with sis and bro in law and they helped me a bit. Going to investigate lessons, as would love to learn to dive. Will make room in the budget somehow.

I also spent £25 on suitcase but that was for sister so she will pay me back and cough £7 on books cough. Never have enough :o Also filled up the car with fuel.

Today I have spent £1 on 2 danish pastries but they are for dad. Am moving in to sisters house for week whilst she is away to be around for dad, so bought these for dad as a treat for next few days :D

    Good morning :)

Nearly the end of the week, been ok so far. Routine with dad has been ok, bit of a pain driving home at lunch every day, not great for fuel but on the whole good. Had a NSD on tuesday, yesterday just spent £2 odd on milk and some toffees for dad. Today need to get some milk for work, but reclaimable expenses.

Another lovely evening riding my hoss last night, she is slowly getting there, and me too, yard owner had a quick 5 minutes on her too which was nice to see someone else riding her, she said I was progressing well which is great. She also mentioned that the only problem with her will be that she is stubborn, well she takes after me and I am stubborn so a small battle of wills may happen but not in a nasty way more of a who is stubborn the most, I think I may win that one :rotfl:
