    hi there,

wonder if someone could give me the price of the following car

    Manufacturer - BMW
    Model(s) - 318/320i se
    Derivative(s) 2005 onwards
    Engine size(s) - 2.0
    Body shape - saloon
    Fuel type - petrol
    Gearbox - automatic
BCA branch(es) you want searched - anywhere
    mileage - less than 40,000miles

is it possible to search for a "leather interior" on the auctionview site? also, am i right in thinking that the cars still come in about 2k-3k below the CAP clean price?

    thanks

    Hi all

I'm looking to buy a new car and have found some good prices. If I register for manheim or similar - I'm in Manchester, can you see how much cars have sold for. I want to see whether its worthwhile taking time off and getting my car that way.

    Thanks

No, but it's sometimes* listed in the "more details" section about an individual lot.

No, 2% - 3% below or above the CAP cln price is very likely...........bank on it being the CAP cln, try not bidding too much over it, and count yourself lucky if you end up below it. In light of this, autotrader does provide a good alternative to auction.

    * And I checked your results, none list leather trim, the only one which did was the one below, which I eliminated due to mileage - and it is cream leather, not black.

No you can't see sold prices, you'd have to be there in person recording that info for yourself.

    thanks wig,

just wondered, does that mean that "leather" cars are very uncommon then? am presuming that most of the 3 series that go for acution are fleet cars which have basic ES or SE spec... so very few that have leather or bluetooth or are automatics etc etc.??

would the above extras be much more in price than the standard CAP price?

    thanks
