Looking for a cheap basic spf moisturiser for the face

Options
I'm now needing to start using an spf moisturiser. I just want a basic cheap one to wear on top of my current moisturiser.

Any advice/recommendations would be great :)

Simple make a basic SPF moisturiser, though Boots No.7 SFP moisturiser have better star ratings.

There are some SPF only coverage I know of but they're not so cheap and brands such as Vichy, Dermalogica and are likely to be found in other dermatology specialist skincare brands but most high street brands exist with a moisturiser included.

Just to add; SPF always goes on first directly onto your skin (moisturiser on second); this is because there are ingredients in the SPF which need to react to your skin for it to work properly

soap and glory do a factor 50 + that you put on AFTER your moisturiser. its £15 a bottle in boots, but they currently have buy 1, get 1 half price.

I use NOAD factor 50 first then apply foundation over.
Don't bother with pricey SPF creams like chanel etc this is just as good.
Britain is great but Manchester is greater

I like the Boots soltan face which is a once a day product, like Ultrasun but cheaper. I don't trust those that go after makeup as I have read that to get good protection the SPF needs direct contact with the skin. The powder types you put on after ie physical rather than chemical SPF, are good but only of you can be sure you've put it everywhere and used enough. I have worked in a dermatology clinic and all the doctors there wore and advised using a once a day product directly on the skin if in town/ at home but to reapply if actually in full sun.

Why not just just switch from your normal moisturiser to one with an SPF which you can use all year round? I don't really see the point of using two moisturisers at the same time.

    I like Olay

which is cheap and lasts for a long time.

I just came here to recommend Olay and you'd beaten me to it!
I've got weird sensitive/combination skin and a lot of products cause me to break out (Simple, worst of all) but Olay is great and a bottle lasts ages.

the old Olay complete one was SPF 30 which was even better - very disappointed I couldn't buy more when mine ran out

To be honest SPF15 is just a joke. You need SPF30 or up everyday.

I use Aldi's Lacura renew face cream SPF15 during the duller months and Wilko's Moisturising sun lotion SPF 50 in the sunny weather.
The Wilko one is 5 star UVA and high UVB but isn't thick and cloggy like some I have tried.
