Ooh, listening to some of you patient people reminds me why I teach uni students and adults rather than little ones. But you are all doing a great job - as most of my students are lovely so all your hard work and tolerance does pay off eventually.
We had a lovely morning yesterday; Mr N took a day off to 'practice' for his semi-retirement.........it was sunny so we took the motorbike up to an RSPB place near Cambridge. Blue tits had nested in the warden's shed, so they had made a viewing panel and we saw 3 little chicks. We also saw fairies, so my day started well. A lovely peaceful place.
In the afternoon we set to in the garden with a huuuuuuuge list ranging from painting the garden shed to re-planning some messy overgrown areas. Then I gritted teeth and wrote a bit of a report.
Did a bit of old email-deleting.
Put away a few clothes etc, why do I keep needing to do that?
Cleaned the church this morning.
Bank holiday weather approaching i.e. starting to drizzle, so we're off to BQ for some plants, shed paint etc.
Good news Valli
Happy half term vibes to all.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all. Glad to hear Valli has had good work related news and is smiling again.
DD2 will be over later. She is excited because she knows her wedding bouquet has been delivered. She missed it by about half an hour yesterday. When we were searching online she was horrified at the price of fresh flowers so we researched artificial.
We have managed to get her bouquet and three for the bridesmaids for less than the price of a fresh bouquet.
I look forward to sharing the pictures with you all after the big day.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

I just had a laugh.. rang to pay the balance off something.. the lady I spoke too said she would find my order and call me back. About 5 minutes later she called back to ask if it could be under another name... they had only logged it under my facebook name rather than the one on my bank card... made my day.. I've not laughed that much in months!! .. She had to pass the phone to someone else because she couldnt stop laughing.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Ooo exciting CY look forward to seeing the pics
We've planted out what was needed and I took a chance on moving some of last years geraniums (gerania?:D) so we'll see if they cope with that. Not bothered with sweeping as there is still loads of floating dandelion fluff and it's a bit like trying to sweep bubbles...
Two loads of laundry out (covered in fluff) and DW going. I've got Mr A delivery tonight with plenty of supplies for the week off school.
I cleared my wardrobe last night - loads to fling - it's almost empty now but oddly enough I feel I have more to choose from!
OMG you would not believe - the air is just full of fluff - got all windows shut - on a glorious day like today, grrBossymoo

Hello everyone. It's been a busy day. Fridge and freezers sorted and cleaned out. Meal plan done, shopping list done and I've been out to h0me b@rgains and the local butcher/farmer/baker to get what I need. Those things I couldn't get locally, I'm about to do a Mr T order.
Have also taken DH to work and cut the grass back and front. Have done two dog walks, just with LittleyDog, OldDog wanted to carry on sleeping.
Just having a cuppa and a scone with jam and cream. Next is either clean the car or give OldDog a bath if she is willing.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Boba.. the weekend routine here is get the lists done during the week and spend the weekend with your family and doing things you want to do.. you deserve some down time too.. its not much fun missing weekends with your children because you need to clean and tidy.. however.. it is ften used as a time to make them join in the flinging here.. the mess is mostly theirs!
Thanks Pigpen. How very true about the mess!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Mr A delivery put away - honestly, we've just had dinner and they've been attacking the new stuff already! You'd think they hadn't been fed all day...
Anyway, it's sorted, the washing is in, garden stuff all locked away.
They are now doing "just dance" lol. DS says "the telly is doing it wrong" haha.Bossymoo

OldDog still tired so I'll put her bath off for another day. So I cleaned the car (outside only) and hoovered through - have got most of the polystyrene now.
Me and the dogs are fed, but a bit like Bossy's little moos, I am now going to sit down with some sweeties.
See you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I may be about to be banned from posting so if I don't get the thread up tomorrow.. I apologise in advance.. the forum team have pee'd me off once too often condoning lying, bullying and rudeness and to a point encouraging it and joining in.. utterly out of order and against my good conscience.
I don't want to be flavour of the month.. I'll be budgie-ing about on fb anyway xxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
