    Morning all.

I second what CY says about children, they are all rotter sometimes but they do grow up.

    Glad you're smiling again Valli.

So the first of 11 days to do what I please. DH is still in bed, he's on late shift (last one today then he's on hols too) so I'm going to be relatively quiet and sort out my food supplies, cleaning as I go and do a shopping list. I figure if I get shopping out of the way first the rest of the holiday can be stuff I actually like doing.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good Morning All,

Been up since 5.30 with DS (cutting back teeth so lots of horrid horrid nappies and very sore bum - sorry if TMI). He is watching TV now whilst I catch up. So far I have:

    - loaded and unloaded DW
    - WUDUPA
    - Vacc'd the hall
    - Put DH work clothes in to wash
    - Lit a lovely candle to get rid of the poo smell!

Today we have friends over so won't be flying much. In fact, I rather hope we will be sat in the garden with a glass of wine by mid-afternoon. It is my best friend who is visiting and she is such a huge help with the children so I feel today will be a good day.

CY and Jazee - thanks for your kind words and reassurances it does get easier xx
Dizzy - here holding your hand - let's both have a fab day today :)
Bossy - how did the wardrobe cull go?
Valli - that's lovely news, really pleased for you xxx

Right, better get on, have lovely days all xx

Shhh...I'm back in bed. Small and Tiny are playing with the Lego, so the playroom is trashed, but we're sorting that today. Some squabbling but not too bad so far. My body says I need to sleep for a hundred days lol.

Have a lovely lunch Valli !

Sore bum sympathies to Master ATB. Cutting teeth is an awful time x

Hugs all round, hope all those with naughty child, find peace today with them, maybe if the weather is nice a good run round the garden / park might help.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Good morning

Im not sure what the weekend routine is here. I have OH to help today so am trying to kill a few frogs. One is a trip to the local hospital to get rid of a sharps bin I've had in the house since DD was born.
I have been up since 5.45 and so far
    - taken all laundry, towels, bathmat etc down to wash.
    - Put load 1/3 on
    - Taken all dry washing off the airer
    - Taken it upstairs and packed all away
    - Put the bin out and pit in a new sack
    - Put out the recycling
    - Made an errands for today list
    - Made DS bed and opened windows/curtains
    - Put kids savings books into my rucksack to take to the building society

    Still to do
    - Make sandwiches to take out with us. And pack crisps/fruit/water etc.
    - OH to take the moses basket back up to the loft now the cot is up.
    - 30 mins weeding the front boarders if I get chance

    Back later

    Bob

Boba.. the weekend routine here is get the lists done during the week and spend the weekend with your family and doing things you want to do.. you deserve some down time too.. its not much fun missing weekends with your children because you need to clean and tidy.. however.. it is ften used as a time to make them join in the flinging here.. the mess is mostly theirs!

    Morning all.

I had a lovely (almost) 8 hours sleep last night. I'm more than ready to curl up with a book and read the weekend away. However Zacks been sick in the night so I need to do about 3 loads of laundry, and since he's been wandering around downstairs I also feel the need to rewash the throws from the sofa where his hairs tell me he's been laying and mop the floor again before I put the rug back down after its dried out and freshened up on the washing line. :( He's just had some toast and is now dozing on the sofa so I'm going to leave the stress of him having a bath for now, instead I've given him a good wash down using babywipes...and this is the reason I still buy them despite DD being 15 :rotfl:

If it was on the list last night but gone now, I'm bumping it to next weeks list :p

    - Laundry : dog, door mats, cloths, dog bed x2, quilt cover/mat, throws,
    - Cut up lemons & limes for freezer
    - Dishes
    - Vacuum downstairs
    - Mop downstairs
    - Me time, lots and lots of me time ;)

Well there's nothing I can do until the laundry is done. The sick covered stuff is sitting on Zacks bed in the kitchen waiting for its turn in the machine so I'm going to go play some games on fbook :p
