Yes. And maybe not that good parent either - if you would choose not to pay to sit next to your 2 year old child.

Ill not lose sleep over your opinion of my parenting.
Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated to improve our service.

    2.much appreciated
    3. Yes they do to give you all the facts before you choose
    4. You not understanding my point is not a problem for me

You are making a point that doesn't exist.

What is more, have a read of your points above, they don't make sense.

What on earth does this mean?
Yes they do to give you all the facts before you choose

Get over yourself. You will be sat with the child on the flight. Just go and enjoy your holiday, the issue never existed.

Just because you cant grasp the point I am making, doesn't mean there isn't one. Even my 2 yr old would get it.

Nice to learn of your priorities between your wallet and welfare of your child.

My goodness, did you read the whole of the OP? They phoned up Thomson to sort it out. They did exactly what they should have done. But because they posted one flippant line you feel obliged to pour on the vitriol. You're massively over-reacting.

    the issue never existed.

As far as I can see the issue did exist, and still does exist.
The issue is that they try to charge you for a service that they know they will provide anyway for free

I can't see what you're finding so hard to understand in that.

I wouldn't be happy if I was sat next to someone else's 2 year old while the parent is in a different part of the plane. And imagine if I'd paid for my seat as well...... Not good customer service from the travel agent.

No flippant line = no vitriol.

Flippant or not, it's an appalling thing to write.

How do you know it was a 'flippant line'?

Once again you over-react. It was not an appalling thing to write. It's exactly the sort of mildly humourous thought that many people would have in the same situation - e.g. 'the poor people that have to look after my child for me during the flight'. And then the OP did the sensible thing, contacted Thomson and sorted it out. It was obviously a flippant line because their actions didn't back it up.

You have no idea what the OP would have done if Thomson hadn't guaranteed that they & the child would be sat together unless they paid for 'seats together'.

After all, it isn't the law that children have to be seated with parents - it's CAA guidelines.
