I'm literally about 200m from the exchange box.
I just need to know that I'll continue to be able to enjoy streaming video content and live television channels via broadband without glitches and buffering on a 17Mb internet speed.0 -
I get 16Mb and have no problems streaming films in HD, box sets on Sky etc ,so you should be fine @ 17Mb -at Xmas we had lots of people logged onto the network and no-one complained about issues with Youtube, I player etc:)
With ADSL its not just the distance from the local cab. that matters -remember that you will be on the "old" copper system back to the exchange rather than fibre.0
