OP you sound as bad as the person who we bought our house from.
It's been 3 and a half years since we completed on our house yet we still get mobile phone bills/new phone contract letters with direct debit details on etc for the previous owner.
First thing I did when we moved was a change of address list and worked my way through it, starting with the most important things such as banks, work, mobile providers, utility bills etc.
That said I even set up a Royal Mail redirect for 3 months just incase I'd missed anything out.
Beggars belief why people "forget" about these things............
I get wage slips, self employed tax forms, bank statements, bank cards, pension letters, job interview letters even job acceptance letters for previous tenants and their "friends" despite me living here 2 years but in my case I think they are doing some sort of fraud as one person at least lives literally across the road and used to turn up at my door even a year after I moved in asking for his letters which I told him went in the bin for him to moan at me saying it takes no effort to keep his letters for him.
I think hes commiting fraud as I know hes self employed running a home clearance /furniture sales business , basically sands and varnishes things like wardrobes he can sell and chops up and puts what he can't into the big bins which he cant or should I say fly tip everything from matresses, glass shower doors, entire flats worth of carpet etc besides the bins.
Did report him to tax people so had less letters but still getting wage slips for one of his friends.0 -

I get it I've made a mistake but I think in the back of my head I just overlooked it given that it's my parents' address and therefore I get every bit of post I need.
At the end of the day it's done, I've informed everyone who should be informed so that's that. I did actually swap over the address on the vehicle reg document and in dealings with Hmrc, so they're OK. And obviously car insurance. All other insurances are fine as I didn't have any when I lived there as it was my parents who did.
As for the address linking me on the credit file, surely the fact that I pay everything on time etc. maintains the good record, even though I may have overlooked this issue?!0
