Recipe for rice crispy traybake?

    I melt the mars bars and butter straight in the saucepan and this works fine.

    Regarding which trays to use, I use tesco cheapo baking tray, a shallow retangular one and this works fine :)

    ah butter in with it , didn't think of that. how much butter do i need per mars bar ?

    For some really gooey stick to your teeth style ones I use marshmellows and toffee - melt the toffees down in a bowl over some hot water add the marshmellows - stir in the rice crispies and press into a tin and set. They turn out very gooey and even nicer if you drizzle some melted choccy on the top.

    Can anyone help please ?

    i had a recipe for rice crispie squares type bar's. only i can't find it now. i love these but don't really wanna be paying 50p for them if i can make them myself.

    i know the recipe asked for dairy toffee and marshmellows and of course rice crispies. but after that i'm stuck and also i don't know what to do:rotfl:

    can anyone please help me.

    fantastic thankyou. i'm sure the recipe from from a morrisons mag or something similar. but will give the kellogs one a try in a bit i've got all of that , thankyou.

    I used to make something similar by melting Mars bars & I think butter. Absolutely lovely but I can't remember the proportions. (I stopped making because of the calorie count)
