Thanks Pigpen, I'm in, but probably working from tweeked lists.

Not much on this week except errands tomorrow. I was going to do them today but I have longer to run them tomorrow as DD is out at club so won't be home causing chaos or ignoring Zack as she's engrossed in something. It also means I can stop in between trips for longer than just emptying bags :rotfl: I've paid stuff on Thursday and related admin, but I plan on leaving that until Friday and spending the whole day on it, which should hopefully square everything away.

Today is catch up day! I need to do the ironing, sort my shopping lists/errands for tomorrow, and try to finish off the laundry. Ideally I'd like to fit in a bath with my book before DD gets home but we'll have to wait and see :o

    Today:
    Change batteries in DD's toothbrush
    Ironing
Laundry: sofa quilt, dog toys/towels/blankets, cleaning cloths
Errands/shopping lists - print ar90s email for receipt.
    HH shredding work/junk mail

    Monday - kitchen
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Level Two
Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Three
    Clean out the fridge
    Fluff the room
    Extras
    1. Wash the windows
    2. Wipe down paintwork/sideboards/units in dining room
    3. Clean filters and detergent dispensers
Right, I best go hang this first lot of washing out

Morning all. Thanks for the thread- glad it's the kitchen today!!
Feeling more 'up for the challenge' today.
We were up at 6.30 ripping up carpets. I loaded them straight into the car so I have to take them to the tip before picking ds2 up from nursery. Quite pleased with myself because I know the alternative would have been leaving them in the back garden for a couple of weeks. It would have rained and made them all soggy so making the job even harder.
Have also hoovered all the stairs and the bathroom ready for the floor fitters.

I know it's early days but ds1s job list seems to be working. We got back late yesterday but he did yesterday and today's jobs before the school run this morning. I even saw him carrying a washing basket upstairs which he had loaded with items to go up. Multi-tasking- I love it!!!! The jobs are probably not done to adult standard but pleased for the help and means it won't take me as long if most of it is done.

Here is my list today. Glad it's the kitchen- massive pit!!!!!

    Wm x3
    Buy margarine
    Order christening bits from am*zon
    Load dw
    Wudupa
    Tip run
Log on to work and do a job I said I would do!
Work out how to load photos from iPhone to the laptop
    Hoover new stair carpet
    Post card

Monday - kitchen and dining mess
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Clean out the fridge
    Extras
    Clean filters and detergent dispensers

Just having a quick break before I get on with the ironing. In addition to what's gone off the lists I've done the dailies, hung a dark wash out, and put all the underwear in the drier with the towels I wanted to soften after drying them on the line yesterday ;) Its quicker than pegging what seemed to be 50 billion socks out and kills two birds with one stone so to speak. I've also done most of the washing up. We had eggs for breakfast and DD's are welded onto the plate so they're in soaking with other eggy stuff and I'll wash them after lunch.

    Today:
    Change batteries in DD's toothbrush
    Ironing
Laundry: sofa quilt, dog toys/towels/blankets, cleaning cloths
Errands/shopping lists - print ar90s email for receipt.
    HH shredding work/junk mail

    2. Clean filters and detergent dispensers
I'm going to have a quick game online while I have a drink then I'll swap the throws over on the sofas and get the next load of washing in. Zack won't be impressed, he's currently snoozing on the balled up quilt which is the next load. Then on with the ironing

What is it with dogs and dirty bedlinen? Nearly all our guests find the duvet cover that's just been removed and is waiting to go in the WM irresistible!

Flying this week is also preparation for our holiday - we depart on Friday.

I've done a WM load of Mr LW's clothes today; and he's ironed some shirts and trousers he wants to take with him.

I've already packed up our meds for the trip, done the packing list as far as possible, and a lot of the stuff is sorted ready to go in cases. We're also setting aside the clothes we want to travel in.

Can't do the suitcases themselves til Dotty goes home (Wednesday) because we're just too strapped for space, as with no shed at present, the lawnmower and some other "outdoor" stuff is temporarily housed in the spare room.

As I've put the decent stuff for packing, I'm reduced to wearing my old bras - which, I fear, I'm in danger of falling out of! :rotfl:
