Any way I can stop cats from messing up my garden?

The only sure fire solution;0

Pee in to a bottle (morning pee is best) the spray this in various places around your 'territory'. It worked reasonably well in my garden before my scared-of-fighting cat chinned the neighbourhood bully. After that it was not needed!0

Be nice to the cat a bit so it gets close then spray with pee.0

If you want to get the cats off your land throw open tins of tuna fish into your neighbours' land.0

It's funny how the nice people always come to the party a bit late.0

Yes, let's not discriminate. We fine Dog walkers who don't pick up their doo, and I'm pretty sure I'd be fined for dropping my trousers in someone's garden.
Mint is quite effective at keeping them from borders.0 -
Cats don't like bananas. so leave plenty of peels around your garden.
They also don't like dogs and large farm yard animals like pigs and sheep.
They also don't like to walk on gravel.
can't think of anything else.
Oh, they don't like loud noises, like trip wires that set off alarms.
Im my last house I got so annoyed with this problem that I threw some mud at one.
It respected "my garden area" after that.0 -

are you sure about that as the cat that keeps pooping in my front garden walks across 3 meters of the stuff to poop where he does, assuming hes not parachuting/fast roping to the scene of the crimeLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
No cats have tried pooping in my garden yet - and, as stated, they do seem to have made the connection of "See Money and run". However, I am wondering whether I could "reinforce" the idea of "keep off my garden in the first place" if I turned my hosepipe on and pointed it in their direction? I presume they wouldnt fancy getting wet?
I'm not aware enough of cat behaviour to know how they feel about getting wet - so tend to assume they head indoors or under the nearest stationary car or something any time it starts raining?0 -
