I think I am just going to write an appeal to them
    Appealing to who?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Good point Umkomaas, I don't know. Could I appeal to VCS or is it too late it if I tried to reply to them? Or could I write a letter to BW Legal since it is with them now?

its much too late to appeal to VCS, that could have only happened in the first 2 to 8 weeks or so depending on circumstances, so that ship sailed long ago

VCS have employed BW LEGAL to chase up outstanding invoices , issue an LBC letters and ultimately issue MCOL forms via Northampton

any letters like GAN letters go to BW LEGAL now , if its at the debt is denied LBC stage
  • That's fair enough then I won't waste my breath to VCS. Could I appeal to BW Legal? How likely is it that I may get a court request?

no you cannot appeal this , to anyone , and certainly not to solicitors acting on behalf of their client

you can write debt denial letters like the G@N letters to BW LEGAL , which is what others are doing

you can complain to the CSA and the SRA , like others are doing (see the LOVENORFOLK thread about excel and bw legal)

its is EXTREMELY likely that BW LEGAL will issue a court claim (MCOL)

they are doing it by the bucketload at the moment for VCS and Excel and dont let anyone tell you different (none of that statistics c**p , or what they did or didnt do in 2015)

Please just read other BW Legal threads...on here or on pepipoo forum:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=60

Do not reply if you are sent a private message by a poster with less than 1000 posts, offering to 'help'. You never know who they are and we do not do this off-forum (if we did it would only be a regular with thousands of posts to their name, contacting you).

It is so very easy to find dozens of examples of how to respond, and no, it is not an 'appeal'. If you respond weakly (e.g. if you think you can 'appeal' about it, or ignore) you are probably more likely to get a claim.

By all means please show us what you find/the response you have adapted to suit (or copied from another one) when you've read at least a dozen other BW legal letters threads on here and/or on pepipoo.
