Kids are wrapped up in cotton wool these days, sitting at home playing Fifa on their consoles rather than going outside and actually kicking a ball.

Sad times.

There were only two fat children in my school. These were fats Mcalinden and tubby Turkington. Says it all really.

Five killed so far on the Isle of Man this week. I'm told the issue is that these road racing guys couldn't compete with the track riders who are way ahead of them in terms of racing ability and wouldn't go near a road circuit. It's like a modern day gladiatorial sport, spectators go expecting to see death. Not something our assembly should allow.
