Loads of detail in that doc but my interpretation is that they think this summer's electricity costs will be lower than last year's ?
Is there the equivalent for gas?Telegraph Sam

It will not have escaped your notice that since I joined Tracker the elec and gas prices have been on a high, so I am now level pegging with the best of the fixed tariffs. Hopefully the medium term predictions will prove to be accurate.Telegraph Sam

I had been expecting tracker tariff 16.70p/kWh - my region
to be higher today being as Agile TOU Tariff is so high across many non peak hours 0 -
Tracker doesn’t look too bad against Octopus’ new April tariffs, especially for electricity.0

Telegraph_Sam had very good rate - Octopus - January - 12 month fixed tariff dual fuel being kept for him if my memory serves me correct that would have taken him through next winter,Umiamz said:Tracker doesn’t look too bad against Octopus’ new April tariffs, especially for electricity.

Well having waited 9 months to get a smart meter installed and then 3 weeks for it to go live on Octopus system, I have just switched to Agile at what looks like the most expensive time of its existance. I suspect during the lockdown a lot of maintenance has been taking place on the Nuclear facilities (at one point last week only 60% were online). Hence the expense.Current state of play with nuclear facilitiesNumber of units in service: 9 of 16Number of reactors in service: 8 of 15

Yes. I hate to think about how much Agile will cost tomorrow. Better top up the EV today, just in case.Looks like Tracker, in my area, will be 20.56 p/kWh.2
