Tesco product I bought a year ego

What is the item in question?0

Do you have a solicitor? I can't understand the significance of a <£10 item in a divorce settlement. Without more detail I would expect a court or mediator to disregard something so trivial.0

IF Tesco could give you the answer, they'd probably bill you £1000 for their staff time to get out all the old records and trawl through them and print them off.
They'll have billions of transactions ... across thousands of stores .... over thousands of days ....
They don't keep records so madam can check if she DID buy the £4.99 toe clippers or not! They keep records for their own business records, not for idle curiosity of random shoppers.0 -

How did you buy it ? Was it directly in store or via click and collect ? Im suspecting its in store so no email confirmation of the order.0

It's accessible through Clubcard, surely?BrentMeister wrote: »A SAR wouldn't apply as OP would not have given any personal identifying details when purchasing the item.
Isn't that the point of Clubcard (from Tesco's POV)? That they get all the data about what individuals buy and then market to them accordingly?0 -
The guy's going through a divorce. I don't think laughing about it will help right now.The mind boggles - too cheap for a gift for your secret partner - maybe condoms/massage oil/red wine when current spouse only drinks white :rotfl:
I'm assuming that it's something that came up as unreasonable behaviour. E.g. "He never listens to me. I asked him to buy bin bags. He didn't." OP says he did.0 -

Clubcard hasn't been mentioned. We're talking about something purchased via a credit card.
In regards to clubcard, depends how long they keep that information for.0 -

Who in their right mind argues about a tenner when going through a divorce?0
