That's my thought as well. If they don't know, they just need to say "If they'd appealed through the available channels, of course we'd have cancelled it."

If you can prove they knew, and pursued anyway, you can have a field day.

I'm a happy bunny �� Got a letter from ukpc today, charge cancelled �� Lesson learned tho, check and double check that the blue badge is on display. Thanks for the advice guys ��

UKPC are avid readers of this forum as well, they do so, to see where they are going wrong ?

Obvously they don't read very well!! Had the charge been a reasonable amount 'd have paid no questions asked just to save any hassle! Had they been a decent company, I'd have contacted them as the driver with proof of blue badge to save them going to dvla! As it is they wanted £90 for a mistake, fair enough my mistake but £90 to park in a FREE car park that was virtually empty that day is ridiculous! I parked in a disabled bay with a disabled passenger who has a blue badge, it was not displayed properly but that doesn't warrant a £90 charge which is why I didn't pay and initially ignored it.

UKPC is run by Rupert Williams, a self made pleb
He runs his Aston Martin around Beaconsfield in Bucks.
Properties with his wife in spain and works out of a PO box from a Mace Confectionery Store.
He has 20 or so employees who will soon be looking for new jobs

Even the Home Office IND will accept photos as copies of documents for visa applications: they seem to have got the message now that even in the 21st Century, not everyone has access to a scanner.

Took them bloody long enough to realise it though
