I'm stumped. Car hire firm in USA that provides NO insurance whatsoever!

Yeah that's actually what I'm doing for the main car. I was just hoping it'd be affordable to give TheWife™ a few days driving a classic around, but as you say.. even with the above, I'd still be risking the $2,500 excess that they'd hold. (and if I had way more spare funds I'd possibly consider it.. but couldn't risk it at the moment)
So I'm guessing it's a no go
