    Hello All

Been trying to post all day but not finding the time. I was really excited to get our energy bill this month. It had gone from £113 last month to £54 this month. Woo hoo get in! Totally makes a few cold starts feel worth while.

    Bob

    That's epic Bob. Well done.

    Evening all
Just a quick check in tonight as I've literally just gotten finished. I'm completely exhausted and I want to sit and watch a bit of TV before bed. Hope everyone is doing ok.
MTC - don't beat yourself up over the smoking - we all have our vices.

    Hi May Marvellous-oes,

    Hugs to all the wounded
    /depressed/leprosy sufferers etc.

    Just a quick post

Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two:

    * DW has got her phone back from Samsung. Hurrah. :T Free repair...still trying to get them to part with some compensation for abysmal customer service though. As we had made a backup of her data it "only" took 30 mins to get it working again as it was returned to us "wiped".

    * Packed lunch for work.

    How about you folks?

Didn't manage to post this morning before work, I was being leisurely :rotfl: fairly productive day, albeit work got in the way :p I have:

Checked banking, FPL and surveys (20p off 1poll payout, hoping tomorrow is the day ;))
Finally packaged up 4 fleabay parcels
Got a pair of shoes I won on fleabay I thought they may be snug but for 99p it was worth the risk as I've had a pair before and they were mega comfortable. Straight back in bag ready to relist
Found the exact pair new for £5 or best offer, first offer declined, second accepted at 4.50 :D I would happily paid the fiver, they £18 new :)
Meals from stores, didn't buy drink at work again, just drank water :D
Washing on 30 for overnight wash later as is DW

    Still to do:
    Send form to dv1a
Get information ready for mortgage appointment tomorrow

    Hope the injured are ok.

MTC I'd recommend the book DNMS said or alternatively consider a vape as an intermediate. Sending positive vibes.

    Morning all :)
Got up this morning to pouring rain :( Hope it will clear up later! Sadly it continued to rain all day, and more forecast for tomorrow :(
    So far I have:
Let dog out and fed him, he at least has gone back to bed now, after getting me out of mine :rotfl:
Emptied dishwasher while the kettle was heating up
HG rhubarb with breakfast instead of bought fruit
    Read news online
Checked ebay sales, nothing sold overnight unfortunately Sold an item today, listed another :T

    Plans for today:
Check banks Oops still need to do this
    All HM meals Done
Need to buy some salad bits from the market this morning Walked, got wet, only bought the things on my list :)
Take duvet cover and pillow case set whose fabric OH and I have decided we don't like to the CS. It was reduced in the SM, so no great financial loss, but it is pretty, hardly used and freshly laundered, so hopefully it will make the charity a couple of pounds :)Done
Post a couple of items on FB selling page Done, no takers yet though
Tidy up Done a bit, scuppered by DD and little GD as usual :rotfl:
Bit of gardening if it stops raining - I have lavender plants to put in biggish pots that are hanging around the place unused, and some lettuces to plant out :)Rained all day
Pick, chop and freeze some parsley and mint :)
Freeze chicken stock already made in SC, and take any little remaining bits of meat off the bones for pooch's tea :)Done

I am sure there is more, so will pop back later to update.
Hope everyone has a good day :)

Bathroom done, that's about it :o

Legomum, hope you are managing ok - must be terribly frustrating!
MTC, we won't judge you here. Worth looking at what is available free to help give up on the NHS though, or the vape things. That helped my OH to give up after more than 30 years  Do it for your health and to set a good example to your children though, not because of what other people might think :)

    'Night all :)

If you're going t get a vape I would suggest going to a local (reputable) shop and ask their advice on which one would be suitable for your needs. I'm not really sure of any particular brands but that's what my DH did and it helped him kick his habit. The 'juice' now cost us about £10 a month rather than about £7 a day  so even with a £30 outlay it's definitely been worth it. But, if you get one I would say bin the cigs, don't use both otherwise it's really easy to slip back on to the smokes. Best of luck, why dodnt you post on here how you are getting on X

    I'm not a smoker...so I don't know what I'm talking about (!) but here's my opinion:

If I were a smoker I would probably use the free NHS Stop Smoking Service to get Nicotine replacement patches free. (Link)

I probably would go for Nicotine replacement patches/gum rather than vaping. If you use Nicotine replacements they have been thoroughly tested by UK pharmaceutical companies, so at least you can be sure what's in them. If you use a vapouriser it seems the industry is almost entirely unregulated. You could be inhaling anything. This is why you can't get e-cigarettes on prescription; they haven't been regulated for UK use!

    Just an opinion.

    Good luck.
