What a fabulous day it's been, and the evening is just fine too. I spent a lot of time outside in my garden, mostly sitting listening to music and reading. I need a little table!#

One of the joys of having my front door open is that people pop in, as there's not what you'd called neighbours those who are nearby tend to poke their heads through the door to say hello and chew some fat. Walkers stop to chat, cyclists wave their hands and sheep just carry on chewing.

Tomorrow is forecast to be another lovely day so I'm gearing up.
  • I am crackered. I re made the bed and cleaned the bedroom before I went for my haircut. Home again I hung out a load of laundry and put in the nets from the bedrooms and front door, when they were on the line, towels bathmats etc went in. Bathroom and toilet cleaned and floor mopped, also shoved the Dyson over the sitting room carpet.

After lunch I made scones and a lemon drizzle cake for tomorrows afternoon tea.

I spent the rest of the afternoon on the settee. Since we had our supper I have spent over an hour watering the garden despite the fact that it will rain tonight......in the morning we are off to Melton for some shopping and plants from the market.
