If they did they will probably have a big price attached. We are all in the same boat I am afraid."And may the odds be ever in your favor."

With Walkers it's not so much a possibility but almost a certainty nowhere near all of them will be won from the main promotion - but they make no mention of this or the method of winner selection.
Toffifee are running one for lots of vouchers where they will not all be won but they are upfront about it stating on the main page
and giving details in the T&C's about winner selection
that way of selecting winners resulted in less than 100 of 1,000 main prizes being won in a comp on Branston Beans last year and they were not even unique codes.
I remember one with even smaller odds. That was the Golden Wonder 'Million Pound Giveaway' comp a few years ago:

(See post 65 on that thread to see just how few winners there were)0 -

To put it very mildly, not good but at least, unlike Walkers, they were upfront about the selection process.
Be interesting to see at the end if Walkers show how many winners there were from just the main promotion or if they lump them in with all the extras they have been running on FB, TW with Tesco etc.
(I think what sucked a lot of people in with this one was the previous EURO competition for balls, shirts etc where all the prizes were allocated to be won)0 -
Hi,
although this is my first post on this forum, has anybody actually noticed that C, D & K do not ever appear during the "random" scrolling of letters? To me, this appears to suggest that the codes cannot be directly linked to each letter.
With the exception of Q's; V's; and Z's, I have plenty of duplicates of each letter to swap excluding the "Elusive 3".
The Elusive 3 must be deliberately withheld as I have been watching out for them each time during the "random" scrolling selection for a few weeks now and they have never once appeared. This suggests to me that the "Elusive 3" have been intentionally omitted from the selection process. If the process was, allegedly, "random", then surely, wouldn't these letters appear during scrolling? Has anybody seen these letters during random scrolling process?

It doesn't make any difference what letters appear during the animation and the "3" have been in there quite often. The animation is for "entertainment" the letters are almost certainly linked to the codes.
If the equivalent of only 10,000,000 promotional packs are produced per day during the promotion period the odds of getting a rare letter are around 50,000 to 1, the number of codes you can enter is around 160.
With the limit on individual entries and average redemption rates for this type of on pack promotion the chances are the number of holidays won through this part of the promotion will be closer to 2,000 than 20,000.0
